So today is the last day forthe pre launch discount. Will be interesting to see if KIA really remove the discount though.

 

Highly suspect the SE will still give the discount.

 

I used another number to register my interest. The SMS from C&C states $2K discount starting 28 July. instead of $4K for pre-launch customers. Anyhow, we will know tomorrow. Those who are going down tomorrow onwards: Share your scoops here!

I was just reading up the difference between EX and SX. Looks like its mainly the slightly larger rims. Almost 95% of the accessories and instruments seem similar between them.

 

On paper, looks like the EX is a better deal.

 

Or am I missing something here?

On paper, looks like the EX is a better deal.

 

Or am I missing something here?

 

Differences that I can remember:

  1. EX doesn't offer Electronic Stability Control
  2. EX doesn't offer LED headlamps. (still got daytime running lights just in a different design)
  3. EX doesn't offer sunroof
  4. EX doesn't offer electronic chromatic rear view mirror
  5. EX doesn't offer 17" rims
  6. EX doesn't offer ventilated front seats
  7. EX doesn't offer electrically control driver seat
  8. EX doesn't offer 6 airbags
  9. EX doesn't offer front parking sensors
  10. EX doesn't offer wireless Qi smartphone charger

EX is by far the popular choice... according to my SE...

 

would not say 95%... but maybe 80-85% difference

 

beside rims 16 vs 17 inch, headlights is different (looks and LED on SX)..

 

SX leathers seat straight from Korea, not local..

 

sunroof... the rest not so much difference is guess..

 

not sure about the dual zone climate control and ventilated (cool/warm) seating on both..

The new Cerato doors seem lighter than the current Cerato Forte K3.

 

Doesn't close with that solid thud.

 

If you knock your knuckles on the body panels, it also sounds more hollow.

 

I guess this is due to the weight reduction.

Agent never tell you Coe prices going up. Must fast fast buy. If not you have to pay higher prices

It should be 2k service credits that will expires in two years.

Not two years free servicing.

Maybe you like to double check with your SE.

I got $3K credits for my Stinger. Didn’t know they had an expiry date one.. though I’m sure with their bloated price, it won’t even last until the expiry date haha :D

I think they have most of the colour, including test drive cars, mixed of ex and sx of course

 

 

NIce. Very useful for finding car in car open car park at night.
