I would share my review on this company,Car Choice.

I rent car for my PHV usage from them then I realized that I've fallen into a scheming company.

During the first year of rental, I would said that for the first 6 months they, the company, treated you as a King only. Shortly after the first 6 months, they will start disregarding you.

When your contract ended and they will start to offer you with a new contract, promising lots of goodies and after you signed again with them, that's when they started treating you like nothing. 

Their workshop, auto infinite, will work with them to start delaying your vehicle's servicing and repairs.

The worst of all is that they will slowly played 'TaiChi' with you to get you frustrated and when you wanted to terminate your contract which initially promised you that giving a month notice will do; but who knows they started pushing the blame around and insisted that the initial information given was a mistake and they will apologize to you, telling you that if you terminate the contract now, and your deposit will be forfeited!!!

Currently, I'm requesting for the NTUC union help to resolving it and also seeking help from Legal Aid Bureau to get help from a Lawyer to sue them to get back what's rightfully mine, my deposit.

Lucky, I didn't deleted any of the past dealings messages btw me and the company. 

And yet worst, my car was in the workshop for 3 days in last week, and yet when I texted the company, asking how much rebate should I be entitled and so I can pay back my last week's rental amount. But the company agent refused to reply my message, with the intention of dragging me to make payment late in order to charge me with late payment charges and in turn, terminate my contract and forfeit my deposit!!!

***Strongly not recommending anyone to visit Car Choice for renting nor purchase of vehicle. This is a scheming company!!!

TO ALL DRIVERS, my advise to all never lease from this company.

They are never fair in calculating your downtime and will never calculate your deserved rebate when your vehicle is in the workshop!!!

Why I said so is because I met such a situation recently.

 

My car broke down starting on 01/06/25 Sunday at 5.30pm and I sent it into workshop on 02/06/25 Monday at morning 9am to do servicing and checked it for the breakdown, got it back at 12pm.

Next breakdown was on 04/06/25 Wednesday at evening too and send it in on 05/06/25 Thursday morning at 6am till 4pm then got it back.

Next breakdown on 08/06/25 Sunday at 5.30pm and get towed to workshop and only get it back on 09/06/25 Monday at 5pm.

 

3 incidents and I only got 1 day rebate?!?!!!!

 

First breakdown, the workshop claimed that they unable to figure out the real issue and told me to drive first. 

2nd breakdown nearly got me kill in an accident. 3 issues were raised by me to them and the workshop only resolved 1 of them which I thought that maybe 2 issues are linked(which I was right after that repair). 1 last issue which the workshop never did look into it at all!!!

3rd breakdown resulted I'm unable to drive at all on Sunday evening.

 

Most importantly, after so many breakdowns and downtimes, and yet, I was given only 1 day rebate!!!!

it's too unfair.

I strongly do not recommend any drivers to lease from this company.

and yet when I questioned them, the company gone missing-in-action, calls gone unanswered and messages weren't replied too!!
