Any way to increase the intensity of the existing halogen headlamps? Since HID is illegal to fit so maybe theres other ways of getting brighter headlamps. Have done grounding but only minimal... unsure.gif

have also heard of changing the wiring harness, si mi lai erh? smile.gif

I read from other forum, to be careful when using non stock bulbs. Some of them used the bright light kind of bulb and in fact it's not brighter, just that it 'looks' brighter. And these 'bright bulbs' actually burnt their headlamp...

Only the Philips Blue Vision & Vision Plus are LTA approved.thumbsup.gif And they are indeed brighter than other blue bulbs which appear brighter but are not actually and the blue tint is achieved by tinting the bulb. Philips make their brighter by increasing the intensity, using better filaments and a special inert gas. And no, I don't work for Philips.shakehead.gif

I think Philips bulbs are good enuf. I heard those aftermarket HIDs don't last, the ballast last 3 months or so and like you said, are illegal.thumbsdown.gif

Frankly... i've come across quite a few cars... with freaking bright headlights... and it's really irritating travelling in front of them!! [furious] ... they are literally forcing u to go behind them or get so far ahead that u'll not kana the bright headlights.

I'm riding a bike now.. which is higher and i'm feeling the bright lights... so I guess it'll be worst for those who's driving... [shakehead]
