50K sevicing

Hi..been running around a lot recently.

 

Can anyone advise on the 50k servicing?

Hi TS, U need recommendation for mech or things to service?

 

U can check out the service job list in your owner's manual. Since your Mit is 2yrs old at least do these:

 

1) Oil change (plus oil filter too)

2) Coolant change (drain complete and refill)

3) Brake bleeding

4) Check belts' tension

 

These are some stuff off the top of my head.

i have already done (1), (2). Care to explain wat is brake bleeding besides changing brake fluid?

Wat are the belts besides the timing belts inside the engine. Dun want to miss anything out.

Brake bleeding consist of pumping out any air that could be in your brake hoses. It's a two man job and any mech should be able to do it. Best is to pump away most of the original brake fluid and top up a new bottle.

 

As for belts, there should be a timing belt and accessory belt to check. (2 in total)
