Saw an advert for Groomworks (correct spelling??) which has a new workshop at Maxwell, previously Traffic Police office. Convenient for those working in CBD area.

Anyone tried the service before? How's the service and price? Recommended??

Found out from them the details (Quoted direct from their email):-

The per session price for a complete and comprehensive groom ( inside and

outside ) is $150 .

Membership Subscription is $450 for a 4 times a year package.

We use Autoglym , Zaino Bros and Meguiar's products.

Our steps are very comprehensive and roll out quality jobs rather than

quantity jobs. This is how we groom your car.

1) Thorough bodyworks wash to remove tar and grime from rims, door shuts ,

boot lid and radiator grill.

2) Oxide, surface scratch ansd haze mark removal

3) Resin application

4) Sealant application

5) Leather clean and moisturizing

6) Carpet and fabric spot stain removal and steam shampoo

7) Dash board dressing

8) steering column, window ansd glass clean

9) Thorough vacuuming

10) Tyre dressing

Is it worth paying the price???

You are right...our weather is the worst enemy [:|]

That's where our Klasse, Soff99, Mother's, etc plus our muscles not to mention the demo at MCF garage will come in handy. [laugh]

Yah, the location is the best factor. Plus, the sales guy says that he will personally drive you to your office after you drop off your car at Maxwell. Paying premium for service??

Won't make much difference to me, really - it's quite literally a stone's throw away....plus the fact that I don't quite fancy the thought of unfamilar ppl driving my car (yeah, call it a deep-seated bias - friends are fine, tho').....oh well, maybe I'll go over there one lunch day and check them out....
