firstly congrats to your first purchase of a car..

since u didn't mention the expiry of the COE, it's quite difficult to say if it's a good deal or not, since interest rates for COE cars are almost double that of <10 yr old cars.

What is your monthly loan repayment, or have u fully paid off the car ?

COE cars should not be bought based on outward appearance, coz it's already been man-handled for the last 10 yrs...but rather look and listen to the engine as well as the condition of the engine is what's important.

Else once u are stuck with it, there's no turning back....just like my lemon.shocked.gif

if it expire 8/2011 and considering a civic esi, price wise its ok...

but have to ensure its not the infamous "lemon" civic.. [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

do check out the resource folder, those info are pretty comprehensive.. [thumbsup]

cheers [sunny]

my 13mth bonus could only allow me to change petrol type to ron 98 for 2 mths...

and I struck toto last night, and it entitled me to a free MRT train ride.. one way and 2 stations maximum...

so do u think that I changed my car ? shakehead.giftongue.giflaugh.gif dreamzzzzzzz sleeping.gif

hahahaha.. after 13 yrs, it's got a beer belly, from guzzling all those RON types...

sent car for a CT-scan..electronically all A-OK.

Tuned MAF to correct voltage.

No improvement.

New mech says it's very likely to be an engine problem...

it's not the car that sells but rather the name.

Branding is what sells a product.

Quality keeps it going for a long while..gossip.gifscholar.gif

hehe....i can only explain it with a conditioned mind or herd instinct.

i mean i am also a fan of honda cars in the past.....but once i know of its priceyness and reputation of being lemon, I won't consider it no matter how superb is the engine.

but for these people which encountered problems and continue with the car, it just shows that people make decisions they are used to rather than go through a big cycle of deliberations.

people buy emotionally......guess it can never be more true.
