Hi all,

Would like to do flushing for my 5 year old auto trans gear box.

Can recommend some reliable and honest workshops to do the flushing?

Is flushing of the auto trans using the same method as engine flush?

Pls advice.

Thks.

Try BVO or Khang's Auto Tranny shop, they have ATF flushing machine which is somewhat like a dialysis machine for the tranny. It pumps old fluid out while adding new fluid in one continuous flow. Expect to pay about $120-$180 for the flush with fluid included (depends on what ATF you choose).

Bros, quick check with you guys, any idea whether the auto tranny use filter.

Workshop up north just drain and top up. Doing it every 20k and never mention filter at all.

Rgds

but the last time I was there, when he change to Red-line ATF, the shop that you recommend nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

1st, RM infromed Mondy's ATF only change at 60K, which I dun believe that so I changed at 40K. No choice [sweatdrop]! Any fualty will be covered by warranty.

2nd I changed the AMSoil ATF not Red-line [sly]
