I haven't visited the HWZ forums in ages (read: 2 yrs) and I still remember it as a place for juvenile (in every sense of the word) debates. Where clueless teenagers claim to know all there is to driving, hifi, relationships... and threads can't proceed 3 posts without a personal attack... can't say I miss it

Yup, now you need to pay $20 to be a deluxe member.A deluxe member get access to a server with greater bandwidth,1000 pms( that you WILL never need) and no pop ups.

 

However, they make you go crazy with the juvenile members, incompetent mods and admins and all the things that you can find in a nursery school is there.

 

Sammyboy is way better in terms of value.

BTW guys,

How often do you really need to service your air-con? Is it as & when you air-con konk off on you or is there a regular interval?

Was told be several lau-jiao owners that an annual service interval for the aircon would be good to help prevent the aircon from coping out without reason, assuming, that is, the servicing job was done well.

 

Also read somewhere this Peter Seat (that's his name, apparently - no connection to my car's) chap over at the BP place over at Lakeview (?) do a pretty decent job.... Comments, anyone ?

My mechanic recommends a half yearly servicing.It is a good time to service the parts as the gas in the car will run out around that time if your aircon is not leaking.

Isnt this a bit too much... I hear servicing only once every 2 years or when its needed?

Aircon service around once a year is suffice.....better play safe then face expensive repairs

I did my last servcing in JB. It costed me around RM50 - RM80.
