Hi guys,

i m new here. any 1 installed E68?

installed 1 onto my sunny hoping 4 more cool air, but seems to generate some noise.

oso felt loss responsiveness in lower range.

Halo Halo! Welcome to MCF. Had installed an E68 onto my protege 03. So far so good...can get better response, car also feel "lighter" when step on accelerator. [sly][sly] FC a bit of improvement only lar [sweatdrop][sweatdrop] I think different car different response... [rolleyes][rolleyes][;)] did u try tuning the E68??

adjust valve control to try everyday. Noise still irritating.

d u feel any loss at lower range?

My friend did mention that a bit "flat" at midrange...but i don't feel it...as i seldom go above 3000 rpm [sweatdrop][sweatdrop] for the lower range, feels alright...I did not adjust anything yet...so far so good..the nice ppl at PL install at tune for me liao. [nod][nod]

lucky u!

i went bac 2 McW 2 reposition behind

grille n tune after rpm bcome unstable. at 1st placed behind radiator,

beside fan.

Mine is positioned at a hole that's attached to the body of the car..opening is aiming downwards away from the engine or radiator..sometimes also experience unstable RPM but that's for about 1 second and it's almost non-existant now. [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Mine not really noisy at all .... and no power loss, power gain got nod.gifthumbsup.gif

 

Beter go back and tell McW your problem ... and ask them to get it fixed. maybe yours is spoilt unsure.gif

no,not the face-lift model. it's N16 1.6 auto.

sluggishness improved after ground wire, k&n drop-in filter,

& iridium plugs[thumbsup]. consumption nvr improve [:/] .

oso timing tuned up 1 deg.

how's yours?

same loh..... mine got ground wire, K&N, CAI, ecotek and capsule.......also so sluggish.....

 

 

imho... u've got too much air... no fuel... too lean....

 

think u need a fuel regulator/power boost valve to help ur mixture... [nod][nod]
