CDT CL61 Component speaker

Hi all,

 

Need some advise whether is it worth it to get the above speaker. It is a 2nd hand and used for about 6mths. He is willing to sell me at $140. Can buy? How much will the installation cost?

quite good, i have it on my ride, also sunny. maybe if you are free i let u audition it before you buy it.

The price looks quite OK. I paid more for an older set. The SQ is good, midbass pretty decent, just give them enough juice to bring out their best (say at least 75W RMS per channel).

 

The installation cost of components is more than normal speakers as there is also the crossover and tweeters to install. Am guessing here, prob would cost ard $30 to $40 for a pair.

Sounds good leh but u may need to enlarge the hole in order to fit 6.5" leh

It worth to buy loh only use for 6mth. I buy first hand $280 wif install.

Indeed a good price. Does the CL61 comes with tweeters too?

i think now they are selling the CDT62 with installation is abt $300.......Yes....it comes with tweeters and crossover...

for entry level installation, we use RCA cables right?

if i were to install components like these CDT to my stock HU first,

then another day connect up an amp in the boot,

that means they have to rewire etc?

 

so better to get CDT-62 @ $300 with installation then rewire

or CDT-62 @ $280 without installation and let the amp installer rewire?

 

soundproofing can be done separately, no problems?
