Autogarage / Volks Haven

Have been to Volkshaven twice this week, one of which I posted under another thread for Battery Life. The other trip I went down with a friend to service his Octy Classic for 60K and it was a pretty good experience with a very dedicated Boss (Colin/Thomas) who look into every detail of the car. Unlike Servo which they do mass servicing in the shortest time possible and at times even miss out minor work, Volkshaven takes time out to really listen to you.

But the service package will cost slightly higher and understand from them is that they can offer good package for SOG when I mentioned to them. Any guys wanna give that place a try too?

Overall we gave thumbsup.gif.

Hi,

They know VAG cars pretty well and Skoda is no prob to them. They specialise in VW Beetle though and they have parts ready too. But need to book for servicing appt as they may be tied up.

Went there once. Parts might not have as much as Servo, but service from the mechanics themselves very good.

Servo's Dennis is commendable in terms of his service and customer relationship, but somehow I feel that is not passed on down as you often see grumpy mechs in Servo which frankly is detrimental to Servo's business.

So far, Dennis has been very helpful, just thinking of alternatives. Actually more of looking for other sources for aftermarket parts...seems like no one carries except Servo [:/]
