Supersonic

u hv more flexibility wif a passive sub can as u can hook up to a kickass multi-channel bridgeable amp. but if u leaving everything else stock, an active sub might be better.

Which connector on the HU do I connect the active sub to? In other words, what connector must the HU have?

Any sub to recommend? Prefer something with strong tight bass as I listen to electronic music alot.

Btw, my ride is a Renault Megane II. Thanks bro.

Supersonic

it plugs straight into the preamp i tink. that's for most aftermarket HU's anyway. does yr megane II come wif a factory integrated system? if so, dunno if hv or not coz my factory wowo system doesn't. frown.gif

Yes its a factory fitted system. Unlikely to have a preamp connector then. Got excuse to change the HU too now! [thumbsup] The radio reception sucks anyway.
