Hattee Neutral Newbie August 3, 2004 Share August 3, 2004 if my understanding positive crankcase ventilation is correct, there are 2 hoses to the engine crankcase - one before throttle body (T) and the other into the air manifold (M). Low pressure at (M) ventilates the fumes in crankcase with positive air taken at (T). With E68 connecting outside ambient directly to the manifold, (M) is T-off at the connection. With higher airflow from E68 (due to greater pressure differential with ambient), will the increase suction due to venturi effect (depending on flow and hose diameter) felt at the T-off not result in stronger ventilation, reducing corrosive accumulation? ↡ Advertisement
