Does anyone know the minimum RON / octane requirement for 2002 Kia Spectra 1.6 auto?

not mentioned in the owner's handbook or any place near the opening of the petrol inlet of ur ride ? my mazzie has a sticker on the open cover tt states minimum RON95.

Just wanted to check the min RON that I can pump for the rented Spectra.

 

And as I mentioned in another thread "Kia Spectra - Fuel Guzzler"... this car is hell of a drinker. More like 2,000cc car consumption.

For Spectra Manual, you are able to get around 10-11km/litre and I find it is reasonable cos this car is heavy in its class but the protection and stability you get in return is very good.thumbsup.gif

But I must admit the high speed stability of the Spectra was excellent. Probably 'cos of its weight
