Madarmour Neutral Newbie October 24, 2002 Share October 24, 2002 I've heard a lot of good reviews about the T1-S too. I wanted to get the T1-S too, initially, during the last Autosalon. The person in charge, Michael Tan, suggested that the R1R is more suitable for our climate and is more comfortable. Cost the same too. Anyway, the R1R was very good! Tarmac, it's the top level, but quite a bit a loose gravel, so it's rather easy to get unstuck. Hey, add a couple more humps and you've got the Finland rally! And the thread pattern is to die for! I met Micheal at the booth, he was not that pushy...recommended me the R1R (i think), then his boss (the director) came over and show me a 17" rim and recommended T1-S, next thing I know, I signed on the dotted line!!!! no wonder he's the boss!!! Nice chap though....still sceptic when at the shop to install new rim and tires, but I threw all doubt away when my car got her new kick....love at first sight!!!!
