GDIzen Neutral Newbie December 15, 2004 Share December 15, 2004 The new BMW M6 BMW has issued the following press release: The announcement of a new M car remains a rare and exciting occasion, and the launch of the new M6 in 2005 will reveal a potent new combination of BMW engineering and M power. Hot on the heels of the new M5, and taking lightweight design solutions from the M3 CSL, the new M6 combines supercar presence with Grand Touring potential. Joining an exclusive club, the fourth new M car of the decade sets a new performance benchmark for a production car. The beauty of the M6 is also its ability to comfortably crush kilometres on a cross-country cruise. Like its predecessor - the legendary 1985 M635CSi ↡ Advertisement

Ahhan7 Neutral Newbie December 19, 2004 Share December 19, 2004 (edited) yeah, they said something like like that too. scrapping the idea of the M3. the reason i heard was that BMW needed to compete with Audi's A4 or soemthing like that. something like the M3 not good or powerful enuff. they are changing from odd numbers to even numbers. Eg, M3 to M4, M5 to M6 i still love BMW. Edited December 19, 2004 by Ahhan7
BMW320i Neutral Newbie December 19, 2004 Share December 19, 2004 I think I'll still be in love with the E46 M3 and the M4. M5 or 6 not really my cup of tea ... but hey ... if someone comes up to me and hand me the keys, I have no problem with that !! ↡ Advertisement
