Need help on determining amp specs

I've inherited a Kicker Solabaric subwoofer along with a PPI amp powering it from a friend. According to my installer, the PPI amp is not good enough to power the sub and indeed, the amp died on me recently.

 

An installer advised me to get a min 600W monoblock to power the sub which I realised it's really hard to come by in the used market and it's definitely not cheap too.

 

Just wondering if I could just get a 2Ch amp to power the sub as I really do not wish to spend too much on ICE.

 

As there are always amp sellers on the net, any idea what sort of specs should I be looking for? Would a specs like this be good enough to power my sub?

 

4 x 100 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms

4 x 200 Watts Max at 4 Ohms

2 x 400 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged

4 x 175 Watts at 2 Ohms

Kicker solabaric requires quite high power to drive it. Usually a mono block amp class D amp will be cheaper then the normal full range amp with respect to the same output power. other recommendation is that you can get a 4 channel amp, the first 2 channel you bridge them together to pump your kicker and the other 2 channel to drive the front speakers.
