Okay! I stand corrected. Yeah! you're right. In computer RMS is Remote Monitoring Systems but we're talking about automotive here. I'm integrating computer programs into my car that is why I thought it is computer term.

0.7071 x peak = RMS is only for maths calculation.

 

For Audio conversion, it cannot use calculation, but belong to two difference measure methods.

 

As a roughly conversion, PMPO ~= 11 X RMS.

 

Say if manufacturer declare PMPO is 1100W, then the RMS is about 100W
