yep quite satisfied.... overall except the draggy pickup...

but recently cut the bonnet rubber that was blocking the air scoop . Pickup performance improved.. [thumbsup]

Hi there! Just curious... wun the rain splash into your air intake if the rubber portion of your bonnet cover?? [gossip]

I has done this once b4, the rain water splashed into my engine bay somehow... causing my ignition coil to kapput. [shakehead]

Until today, I still dun quite understand how rain water can sip into ignition coil (seal tight cover) and kapput it. [sweatdrop]

agreed on the draggy pick up....by removing thr air intake will help pick up? did u diy? can share how u do it??

When the bonnet is closed , the rubber lining underneath , sort of blocks the air scoop. So just cut away the portion of rubber under the bonnet .

Think u can find a similar looking one in JB ... saw one at this shop in Holiday Plaza ...

but changing to this type of steering wheel cfm means sacrifice the air-bag which IMO is too big a trade off and an illogical thing to do, unless ur car doesn't come with an air-bag ... is the original Lancer one so unacceptable that one has to change it ?

WRT to chrome in the car, depending on the quantity and quality .. it can make it attractive or it can make look distasteful & cheap .. for this car and I think it'll haf 2 be the latter ...

Yup, i saw 2 shops in hol plaza selling car stuff, havent been checking that place for sometime.

Not too sure if the airbag can be re-installed to the new steering...but I believe all our CS3 lancers come with airbags, or shld I say for most cars these days comes wif airbags? Haha...personally i dun find the stock ones 'unacceptable', it just looks simple so guess pple want to change to something new.

Distasteful & cheap?? Hey have it yr way then! To each his own! Perhaps u will want to put yr own car pics here for us all to review?

Hmmm..I wonder at the actual effectiveness of airbags...Is the seatbelt not sufficient in saving your life in an accident? If a seatbelt is enough, I guess airbag becomes a backup safety system.

I dun know, just my thoughts on the matter.

Very nice set of Momo accessories there. Just 1 ques, does the gear knob and hand-brake feel unbearably hot after parking the car under the hot sun for a couple of hours?
