  1. I'm just curious and also interested to know. Any bro's or sis's here have tried the above ? If it's just as simple as buying the reciever (which cost ard $100++) and a memory card with maps all preloaded. Then we're good to go.But how will it perform against the purpose made GPS stand alone unit from Garmin or Holux? I have a PSP slim(actually it's for my son ) and it has a wide screen which I think will be wonderful if it really works. http://www.navigadget.com/index.php/2008/0...on-on-sony-psp/
  2. Need some advice here on ICE setup. Will be collecting my car (WISH)in mid Dec. It comes with an in-dash 6.5" 2-DIN DVD player. Am thinking of changing it to those roof mounted type. Options: a. Stay put (my kids will watch their 'Barney' from the in-dash display 'illegally') b. Add a roof mounted LCD and link it to the DVD player (~$300-$400?, need advise on brand, cost and where) c. Add one of those that can mounted on the headrest (eg. Nextbase) (price, brand, cost and where?) d. Change the 2-DIN to 1-DIN, as for the LCD, for for b or c. Advantage of c over b is that there is no drilling involved and you can transfer it to another car. Viewing angel is also better as it is more towards the eye level compared to those roof mounted (like watching movie in the front row seat) But, both my kids will try to go for the 'best' seat since it is located at the side iso central. Comments???
