  1. Anyone know where to get a set of spigot rings? Tyre shops available? Went to change two of my tires, found one of my rims missing a spigot. Not sure when this happen, could be during one of the rotations.
  2. After market wheels usually require a spigot ring as an adaptor to the car's center spigot. Most to these are hard plastic. I read that the studs cannot take shear forces. It only bolts the wheels to the hub. All the shear forces are absorbed by the wheel center spigot (and the plastic ring), is it safe to use plastic ? Why not metal ?
