  1. It was Sunday yesterday. I had just finished work at 7:30pm, picked up my g/f from Dover MRT and we were headed to Holland V for dinner. I was super tired from work and hungry from lack of food by then. Drove in as usual from the entrance that had a lot of construction work and drove down the slope past the satay stall and the chinese restaurant towards the carpark area. Noted at the T-junction of the car-park that the right side had loads of cars waiting and thus, I followed two other cars to the left. The two cars ahead of me never noticed the grey car that was going to leave and drove on ahead. I spotted the grey car about the leave as I drove past it and flicked on my hazard lights. At that time, there were no cars behind me at all after the one behind me understood that I wanted that lot and moved off along my right. The grey car started to move out of its lot. I was so happy to be able to get a lot so quickly. But the grey car then JAMMED brake. Behind me, came a zooming taxi around the bend. Ok, so I exaggerate. But do see the picture I drew to show that there was sufficient space for the taxi even after its car park racing skills had shown that it could corner quickly. [inline hollandv.jpg] But it was enough to stop the grey car dead in its tracks. My g/f was already outside the car to help see that the grey car could initially clear mine in order for it to turn left out of the carpark. The taxi was now blocking its path. From anyone's perspective, the taxi had LOADS of space to turn its right a bit more and clear my car. It chose to highbeam and honk at me to clear off. I wound down my window to wave at the driver to move along beside me. My g/f was indicating that I wanted to park in that lot. Angrily, the taxi driver revved and drove past. The Ang Mor in the taxi wound down his window and yelled at me, "MOVE ALONG @SS-HOLE, THIS IS A ROAD!!!" To which I replied, "THIS IS A PARKING AREA, WHITE BOY. NEXT TIME, GO TO THE MAIN ROAD TO GRAB A CAB."
