Hello, I'm considering to upgrade my stock Fit GK3 air intake and am looking at 2 options. Would like to seek your opinions and recommendations. Ultimately, i would like to achieve the following: - FC stays the same, if better, its a bonus - sounds from engine bay , louder is fine, - filtration is decent (not idea what happens if dust and dirt goes in) - Will not sacrifice low end torque , hoping that the "laggyness" of pick up will be reduced. My options are the following: Option 1: Stock air box with drop in filter (knn, hurricane, Filter fellas - anyone heard of them before?) Option 2: Change to airspeed air intake - see pictures I am leaning towards option 2, but I am not sure if the filtration is decent. I do not want dirt dust to go into the engine hence my hesitation. Likewise, there seems to be multiple bends so I'm afraid low end torque will suffer. For cleaning wise, the ws shop informed me that i can either learn how to remove that black circular thing and wash myself or i can just go back to them pay them $10 for them to wash for me. The ws though claims that pick up will be improved, and fc will improve as well. Of course, it will sound slightly louder. Any advice is greatly appreciated. or if anyone has option 2 installed, do let me know your verdict if it is worth the upgrade. Thank you.
