  1. Dipstick
    The railings put up to discourage jay-walking can obscure the view of motorists to oncoming vehicles. See the pics 1 & 2 below. In pic 1 vehicles coming from the left are visible. As the motorist moves forward to the middle of the junction, the railings merge and obstruct the view of the motorist so that he can't see vehicles coming from his left side. This is a potentially dangerous situation. Pic 1 Pic 2
