  1. Yesterday was a day of new learning experience on tyres by our family when we went to change a set of tyres at AMK Autopoint. Yes we were lucky to find one shop still open on Sunday to help our dismay, many thanks to the boss Eric Tan. Pressure Our rear right tyre has been losing pressure constantly for past 1 week and we suspect a FOD had penetrated onto the tyre as such decided to quickly change it. Though it is a Sunday and we know that many shops are not open, we decided to try our luck as we deem it is too dangerous to continue driving on this tyre though it is not on the front. The current tyre setup on our car (Nissan Sunny N16) is, the front tyres are Sumitomo (newly changed by TCM at our last servicing late last year) and the rear tyres are the original Bridgestone tyres that are also about due to be change (as per advised by TCM during the last servicing). Our precious ride has already 61K mileage now. So the suspected punctured tyre is due to be change anyway. Pressured At the good shop, the boss proceeded to change our two rear tyres though he did mentioned as he does not have Sumitomo as they are not good in his opinion and thus does not want to carry them. In fact he is surprised to learned from us that TCM had recommended Sumitomo to (more like pressured according to my mum) my mum when she sent the car to TCM for servicing last time. TCM called my mum to say that the 2 tyres needs to be change and the other 2 can be changed at the next servicing. I can imagine our ride have 4 sumitomo tyres....why?...we soon learned that in the next few para. The boss then given us two choices and we took his better recommendation which is Michelin XM1 at 185/65/15. I brought along 2 new spare rims to change too, one for the rear right and one for the front left. When we were changing the front left tyre onto the new wheel, we noticed that the sidewall had already sustained a chipped off damage, we were then advised to change the tyre too. Though we know that the two front tyres were relatively new, we decided to change all four to Michelin. When the Sumitomo tyres were removed and placed beside the Michelin
