Any brothers here have amphifier and have found a way to prevent the knobs behind from "oxidising" thereby forming a grey rust. My 2 months old Denon knobs is starting to oxidised, have to rub it to give it its shine. For illustration purposes on the knobs im referring to....

Hi all, When I changed my stock rims to alloy rims, I knew the day would come when the metal wheel connected to the axel (onto which the rims are fitted...sorry do not know the exact term) would rust. With stock rims, the chances of corrosion are minimised because the stock rims are normally whole and would prevent water from splashing onto the axel wheel. But with alloy rims, the axel wheel is now exposed such that when the road is wet, water can easily splash onto the axel wheel. Over time, rust occurs. I have this problem with my front two axel wheels 'coz they are shining metal but my back two axel wheels are fine 'coz they are some kind of blackened metal. Is there any way that we could prevent the axel wheels from corroding? Also, if it's already showing signs of rusting, what can we do to remove the rust? Thanks!
