  1. Went in on Saturday. to my horror when i check my stamp, the rear portion of stamp is slightly blur and out of ink, but the 1st half of the 8 totally disappear ! in short my entry stamp is read as "24 May 2003" which means i like overstayed for 5 yrs !, best part, i went back to the counter, the lady tell me no problem SHE TOOK A BLUE PEN AND DREW AN 8, i was like WTF, i ask for a re stamp and was declined, not wanting to hog the queue, i went off, at the customs seconday clearance for boot checking, i highlight to the office and show her the pen-altered entry stamp, she told me ITS OK, double WTF. park my car oppisite the 100% check, walk back to the immigresen office, show to the senior officer , her shoulder rank is "one crest", not sure if its the equivalent of our MAJ. she also tell me no problem, but she jus counter sign, i want a re stamp, but she say cannot be done. i heard of many horror stories with regards to their stamps, not wanting to take chances so have always been careful, but it certainly was a cold shower for the whole trip, lucky the exit side neber kick up a big fuss so that i can type this thing out here. u try pen altering a singapore stamp, you see wad will happen
