Hi!

My new Setup:

HU ---------> Pioneer DEH P8650 MP

Front spkr --> Rainbow CSX 625 component

Rear spkr ---> Rainbow lower range co-axial

amp----------> Soundstream VGA360.4 Van Gogh

using the 4 channels to power each of the speakers.

Problem:

When playing CD from my multi disc changer and radio, there seem to be some occasional crackle coming from the speakers although cannot narrow to any one of the speakers..... although certain songs tend to have less....

can anyone advise me on the possible source of this sound?

Thanks!!

Crackle because your speaker woofer cone hit the door panel when playing mid bass? Can share a bit more on when the sound comes on i.e. what type of music you played when crackle? smile.gif

really could be a case of CD defect. best if u can play a mixture of music types on good original CDs. go borrow from your friend if u r feeling stingy. [laugh] classical music, esp violin concertos, are good for testing the high frequencies of your tweeters.

Happy for u [flowerface] , at least u have a ok system with no problems. Some problems need alot of backtracking. Cheers! [sunny]
