Hello bros,

Can you all give your expert advice on what rims/tyres should i get for my aveo5? Preferably light and good rims but price should be reasonable.

Also, will 15" rims decrease my FC? Pls help. [bounce2]

I believe you'll be changing your stock 14" sports rims for an after market one right?

If you're just upsizing one size, the FC shouldn't be of much difference...

What's your budget for good n light rims with tyres?

Looks like you did not use the "search" function to answer your queries. The topic has been discussed number of times.

You will find that most Aveo owner who change the rim use 15". Most will recommend to change your rim at pxx xxxg. Go and have a look at the design of the rims, prices there is relatively reasonable.

Hi TS,

if you are a "stock" person or someone who prefers quiet environment while driving, I would suggest that you use back 14" rims. The reason being the profile for 15" is rather low, at 195/50/15. This means that there is less cushion. This profile is also a "sports" profile. Meaning it is easy to find sports tyres, difficult to find comfort tyres for this sort of profile, as comfort tyres usually is minimum 55-60...

Thus at 15", you will undoubtedly have a slightly bumpier and noisier ride than stock. The pros is that you will have a v stable ride, can kup corner fast fast np... the 15" profile on an aveo5 will also give it a v sporty look, as the 195 tyres will jut out a little bit from the rear compared to 185 profile and low profile always look good.

you might want to consider coming to teamchevy forums for more comments from the bros there...

=)

i would suggest up by one size and select an extended spoked rim to give it a bigger appearance. more so if its white in color. few designs that will never go out of date are Volks CE28N or CE28NF (longer spoke) replicas or Advan RS replicas.

y i have suggested replica becos u wanted reasonable pricing and i assume that it will be within ur budget. in addition, these replica models are also relatively light averaging 6+/- kg per rim for 15".
