Hi

When I went for my last servicing, my mechanic charge me $58 for 4L mineral engine oil w/o oil filter! Is it expensive? I feel like being chop [:(] !

Normally how much will the servicing with 4L mineral engine oil and oil filter cost? Any good workshop to recommend?

U can try my mech

MW Bros

319 Bradell Rd Caltex Station

62533035

Mech: Ah Wai & Ah Lai

$20 for labour charges (excluding filter) if u r bringing ur own oil n filter. Otherwise, u can take their Caltex servicing package. For mineral package, u get:

20W-50 Caltex Havoline Mineral oil API SL

Original oil filter

4 pieces of spark plugs (Bosch) - need to top up a bit of $ if ur ride is using resistor spark plugs

Price: $58

For me, I usually bring in my own oil n filter. They're v accurate in diagnosing e problem of e car

That's kinda expensive for mineral oil servicing, did they change any other consumables like air filter or fuel filter? If it's only oil plus labor, forget about going back to that mech [shakehead]

Hi there Unknown

It should be in the range of $10 to $20 in Singapore. In JB, in the Esso station across Pelangi Shopping Centre, Look for Ah Liew, say recommanded by the Green Volvo from Singapore, RM$10. This was TB's lobang b4 he left.

Hi there Unknown

I dun know of any work shop in particular. One plc I know charging S$10 for labor and bringing in your own hardware is PitStop Garage.

51 Ubi Ave 1 #01-29 Paya Ubi Ind Park S 408934

Tel: 68444081 hp: 90699960

Look for Alvin

Tell him Lester of Jeepnation introduced you. Call and ask for pricing before you go down. Cos I've not been in contact with him for a very long time already. I cannot confirm if the amount is as listed. Enquire what is their preferred oil and spark plug choice if you decide to use theirs. Justify if it is economical to do so. Good luck!
