Magictouch Neutral Newbie September 17, 2005 Share September 17, 2005 For black car, Zymol is good. For other cars, Hi Glaze 88 is also good.
Lokturne Neutral Newbie September 17, 2005 Share September 17, 2005 That question really has no correct answer. It's like asking what's the best car? If you really must have an answer: Whichever is the most expensive.
Silgt Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 That question really has no correct answer. It's like asking what's the best car? If you really must have an answer: Whichever is the most expensive. Expensive ≠ Good or better There are waxes that sold for >$1,000 but all you paid for is the wax + advertising $$$. But you are right...there are no correct answers, otherwise all the other competitors might as well close shop.
Valjean Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 Which wax is this that sells for more than $1,000?!
Silgt Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 (edited) Swissol, Zymol etc...their top of the range wax can cost upwards of US$7,000...however you're most probably paying a premium to to fund their legal fees for the suit among themselves [laugh] Edited September 18, 2005 by Silgt
Fourth 2nd Gear September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 If you are looking for shine, suggest u go for zaino. klasse is also quite good from what i know.
Valjean Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 I think I read somewhere that these two product lines are quite similar. Upward of $7,000 for a can of wax... Swissol/Zymol must be producing them from vintage harvests from the finest carnauba trees...
Silgt Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 I think I read somewhere that these two product lines are quite similar. so similar that one is suing another for breach of trust (long story there) Upward of $7,000 for a can of wax... Swissol/Zymol must be producing them from vintage harvests from the finest carnauba trees... yeah, probably using the same grape from 1992 Ch. Roro77 Neutral Newbie September 19, 2005 Share September 19, 2005 which sealant is the best? Bro, best is subjective and depends on your standard. To some, abit shine is already the best. When u say the best, does it mean 1) the most shine? 2) the longest lasting? 3) the easiest to apply? Personally i recommend using Klasse AIO and Meguair #21....ok, now i sound like silgt. Anyway, it works great for my black lancer! and my father in law's car! the feeling after u claybar and apply klasse AIO is shiok, very smooth and shiny... followed by Meg #21..... Silgt Neutral Newbie September 19, 2005 Share September 19, 2005 When u say the best, does it mean 1) the most shine? 2) the longest lasting? 3) the easiest to apply? Unfortunately, there are no magic formula outside there (whatever brand you care to mention). So if you formulate a sealant to give you depth, you will likely to sacrifies durability....etc etc. Sad thing is these "requirements" are usually mutually exclusive, hence we might never get one product that will give you shine, depth, sleek, durable, ease of use etc all in one package. Silgt Neutral Newbie September 20, 2005 Share September 20, 2005 from what I've tried, Zaino gives you the longest durability. #21 gives you the best best depth for a sealant, everything else being equal.
Toalson 1st Gear September 20, 2005 Share September 20, 2005 Zaino - where to buy, its a wax rite? #21 is the polymer sealant rite? And its not as durable? Any experience with AG, Klasse or Fusso? Tks!
Silgt Neutral Newbie September 20, 2005 Share September 20, 2005 I'm comparing synthetic sealant with synthetic sealant here... anyway, durability is subjective. How long before you classify it as durable? 1 month? maybe 2? #21 can easily last about 2 months per my observation. ↡ Advertisement
