Fourwheels Clutched October 16, 2005 Share October 16, 2005 this Wingroad is a 5 seater space wagon... will be fighting with the honda airwave. Nissan Wingroad Preview Stylish and functional compact wagon Versatile space The Wingroad Preview opens up new possibilities for active people with a spirit of adventure. Sports enthusiasts will love its stylish versatility, which includes a highly flexible seat arrangement. Rear seats slide fore-and-aft up to 120 mm to create a flexible and functional space. Not only is the Wingroad Preview just the thing for adventure, it is ideal for everyday city driving too. The Wingroad Preview is scheduled to make its debut as a production car in the Japan later this year. Flexible cabin and cargo space Innovative sliding rear seats, a first in compact class wagons, allow interior space to be reconfigured to suit any need. Sliding the rear seats all the way back creates rear-seat knee room that exceeds the norm in this class to provide space equal to Nissan's Cima luxury sedan. The seats recline to up to 40 degrees. Sliding the seats all the way forward creates a luggage area with cargo space close to that of upper class wagons, and without sacrificing rear-seat knee room. Four passengers can readily take off on a leisure trip with all their luggage, including skis or surf boards, with no worries about comfort. With seats reclined and front seats folded down fully flat, users can even stretch out in the car after a long journey. It is also easy to change the position of seats. Forget the hassle of trying to rearrange things while you are parked in a cramped space. The rear seats and even the front passenger's seat of the Wingroad Preview can easily be folded down from the luggage area. This operation can be performed with just one hand. There is also a bench seat at the rear of the luggage area. Raise a lid in the rear floor to reveal the seat with its own backrest. Because the seat position is lower than the floor height of the luggage area, the comfortable bench seat is ideal for changing into hiking or ski boots. Designers have not forgotten the nuisance of wet, dirty gear at the end of a day outdoors. The Wingroad Preview comes equipped with water-resistant seat covers, a washable luggage board, and a large-capacity underfloor luggage box, which can be taken out and washed. Chimp Clutched October 19, 2005 Share October 19, 2005 Wonder how this model will clash with Presage? Did not notice the engine size so perhaps Wingroad has a smaller engine compare to Presage's 2.5L? Maybe a 2.0L?
Fourwheels Clutched October 19, 2005 Author Share October 19, 2005 it should be 1.6l or max 1.8l since the wheel base is only 2600mm that is about current size of most 1.5l to 1.8l car such as lancer, latio, altis, '05 civic, matrix.
