The TP would probably close one eye also. There are so many vehicles which switch on the foglamps at nite! Unless your vehicle looks outlandish, i think it would be pretty safe [:)]

Just a personal experience with Factory Foglights a few years back:

There was one night when I was going home in my AR145 with Factory Foglights on. Then I encountered a police roadblock along Bukit Merah. I was asked to stop at the side, get out of the car and supply my NRIC.

The officer which took my NRIC went back to the patrol car to do some checks and finally came back saying that I SHOULD NOT have had the foglights on. He said that he's only giving me a warning cos my record is clean ... [angelic]

So can we or can we not switch on our Factory Fogs ???

Not just Ah Peks, a lot of Malaysian motorbikes have headlamps on but tail-lamps kaput. At night, you almost can't even see them from behind.

Good point, when we signed on the dotted line agreeing to buy the car there was no indication on such clauses even on the road tax renewal form right?

If yr foglights are original, they can't do anything, sue U or AR!? Give back the summon to AR if TP sue U.

The rear foglights sure kenna, since owner manual stated instruction that how to use it but not the front fog.

Well, fog light is for fog i guess.... so if there's not fog.... why switch it on? Think the police is just thinking that u are another "beng".... so try to find some fault with you. When i see road blocks... i would lower my car audio to just ok level... even tho i blast it just before that.... don't want to give the police an impression that u might a quite "beng" and purposely give u a hard time. So whenever see police, lie low..... [:)]
