Foglights install help

Just installed my foglights, and tested everything to be working.

 

However, right now, the whole foglight is on entirely different circuit. How to set it up such that it'll not light up if my light is not turned on? Need to splice wires?

 

Also, how to get a wire thru the firewall?? No holes for me to pass thru! There's a hole, but it is already filled with wires. Drill?

Think u got to connect it to a separate switch... can anyone confirm?

I went to audio shop and ask.. They say I need to use a relay.. Because if I tap current from headlamps, the fuse might blow easily

Pls remove the current tapping from your lights. When you blow your fuse, you might burn some wires as well. Try this: http://www.carcentral.net/content/guides/H...iary_Lights.php

 

For connection 85 and 86, splice your driving light wires and join them here. But if you go hi beam, your fogs will go off. Actually no harm having your fogs on a different circuit. But maybe have it connected to your ignition. Once key is removed, all lights will go off. I think it's a better idea.

See that you are a RS user as well? I go to theri head office in tuas to buy stuff often. For Zrun, as he is in US. He's able to get stuff from plcs like RadioShack. Thanks for the input!
