Low visibility? Well for some jokers who only use their foglamps with the headlamps off at night, make us wonder what defines the use of foglamps for them????? [mad]

Some pple think by switching on the fogs "stylo" mah...seriously.. [:p] But usually when the fogs are on, the main headlamps would be on also, whether its the courtesy light or the main beam [crazy] Having foglamps are more of a trend than a necessity [crazy] especially in Sillypore [laugh]

Totally agree with your point of view. A lot of stylo ppl around. Don't know why they need fog light when there are no fog around and the road here especially the expressway, even w/o highlight can see the road ahead.

[crazy]

Hee.....I'm guilty of being one of those stylo persons [:p] , I leave my foglamps on all the time with the headlights and in light daytime rain I'll leave the foglamp with the parking lamps on.

Sometime, I wander whether the car is designed with the light on when the car is cruising on the highway. I have seen quite a number of volvo with the lights on, thought that it was designed that way, maybe in europe or america it's a requirement there to ON the light in certain states.

Anyway, here is more of a stylo milo. [:)] . Though its a safety thing but at the moment not used to it yet. [;)]

Do cars here have the DRTs(daytime running lights)? Perhaps the lights are switched on all the time for Volvos [crazy]

For this country its def for the "style" factor [:p]

Sky, do U mean the headlights or the foglamps in combo with the headlights that are always on?

My brick has a switch to toggle the DRTs on or off, but here no need so default off from factory. [:)] Don't want to pretend to be Mindef vehicle [:p]

In the US they run DRTs which are the headlights, so many are complaining that their headlight bulbs are burning out very often.......imagine they run up to 500% longer headlight burning time [shocked]

I actually switched on my "fog" lamps when I was visiting one of those Changi Govt. Bungalows earlier that night. Down there very dark. Forgot to switch them off after leaving.

Anyway, the fog lamps on the AR145/AR146 are actually driving lamps. They don't shine forwards like normal fog lamps but are angled sideways and horizontal so as to illuminate the curb, especially at the bends for better for driving at night under low light conditions.

Well, if TP says not qualifies.... what can u do right? Bottomline.... nowadays so many cars comes default with foglight.... even Merc.... so if the TP sees a Merc having foglight "on" and a Honda Civic with spoiler having foglight "on"... which one do u think he'll want to talk to? U be the judge. [:)]

Aiya, bec.. car got no PUB bills mah.... so "on" whatever things we like... and it's still the faithful 12V battery..... [:)]

Maybe after manufacturing the volvos... they realised that the battery tends to overcharged.... so they add the auto "on" headlight... to drain of the excess charges..... *grin* [;)]

For cars that fit aftermarket fog lights or factory fog lights after the collection of their cars, will they pass LTA inspection?
