Luckcent 4th Gear January 9, 2006 Share January 9, 2006 I tell u i tested a Liberty (Legacy in Aussie) from Mel City to Morrington ...thru a hill (forget name liao) i did cornering(v sharp) at 90km ...walao stick to the damn ground...no body roll....no oversteer ...swee is the word! Test drove the 2.0 R last Thursday evening and the handling round corners was fantastic. No body roll and the bridgestone tyres stuck to the road like a leech. ↡ Advertisement
Spacio1 Neutral Newbie January 9, 2006 Author Share January 9, 2006 I think Spacio is not looking for cheong or century sprint car. Manual gear is also not preferred beacuse we old man liao... Guess he is buying a comfort, big & solid 2L auto family car with reasonable power under 90k budget. Something like Camry, Lagecy, Accord, Sonata, Cefiro..., not those younster cheong car that consider power only. Yes sir, you are perfectly right .. need a car that is reasonably spacious, different, sub 90k, decent handling and reliable.. don't need a speed monster. Spacio1 Neutral Newbie January 9, 2006 Author Share January 9, 2006 It is quite likely that the car tax structure might change (lower), and given that many cars on teh roda now are probably les than 2 years, the demand for COE is liekly to be contained. Therefore, car prices should edge lower in 2006. But don't be too happy yet, personally I feel that variable cost will creep up, i.e. more ERP gantries, more expensive parking etc.. This is a trend for major cities around the world.. HK , JPN , LDN , NY . Car is cheap but usage is expensive. So when buying a car, try to buy a level lower than what you can actually afford. E.g. if you can afford a 100k car, try to buy something around 80k .. leave the 20k as cushion for future increase in variable cost.
