Greetings,

Not sure about brand but I am using OZ Audio sub....

If space and budget is not a constraint, go for the bigger (or biggest) one. Personally, I find that the sound freq range is more complete.

Hi,

Generally, e bigger sub e sub, e deeper u can go. As for e qty, e more e sub, e louder it gets. So it actually depends on what u r looking for: Sound Pressure Level (SPL) or Sound Quality (SQ)

There are subs catered for SPL n SQ applications. A rough gauge to decide whether the sub is SPL or SQ is to look at its power handling n extrusion levels.

U can consider e following sub which requires little vol to operate:

Image Dynamics IDQ 12 V2

If u r looking for some good buys, u can check out:

This will require slightly more vol to operate

doesn't look like they have workshops in sim lim tower. so if i do get a sub-woofer from there, how do i fix it? they will send you to their workshop is it?

as for installing of sub-woofer, will there be any drilling of the car, like in the boot or the passenger compartment, etc?

2 ways to do subwoofer [ol] [*]box [*]put on the piece of wood on with the rear speakers.[/ol]

box is the preferred way if space is of no concern to you

ya, they do not have any workshop. what i usually do is - buy from them, then bring it to my own audio shop, give them labour fee and ask them to install it for me.

no, there wont be any drilling involved..putting them in a box would be the best pick [thumbsup]

Hi Freemason

Any idea how to fix a 15" sub on a civic?

Some told me that the 15" sub with box will take up too much space in my boot. Am now contemplating to put in the spare tyre compartment. Will it work and how much will it cost?

Please advise need to know urgently.

My 2 cents..

If you listen to Rock, mostly Rockford Subs are better.

For Compentory Pop- Infitinity

For Jazz - Silk BOx WOofer are the best !! [thumbsup]

The bass produced varies to your liking.
