accord has a history of high consumption of engine oil....

civic is nicer with it's skyline-lookalike tail lights...

mi n mi frenz r still not too sure of the new civic... FC, wear-n-tear, etc.... n mi frenz finally decide to get d 1.6L civic instead... more reliable...

i would think euro R would b best but damn costly though.... from a normal accord of 150HP to 220HP for euro R!!!

Legacy GT will b best as it has more HP than euro R... but too sporty oreadi... [flowerface]

I set my eyes on the Civic after reading so much about it laste last September. Well, Accord is definitely a good ride... It has been my dream ride in fact...

However, there is literally NO regrets to have settled for the Civic. To each his own. But, seriously go to the show room and take a look at what the new Civic can offer and you'll be amazed...

Paddle shift is fun! Something you'll not get for an Accord... In conclusion, I think the Civic is a Fun car to drive...

Which will you chose?

If you are early 30, self-employed and sometimes needs to fetch client around.

Can't decide cause both car cost about the same, civic comes with more standard equ. But accord gives the more exective look.

Please give me your views !

Given that you plan to ferry your customers/clients, Accord will be a better option for you.

For Civic it is much "bigger" in the interior when compared to the Accord JDM. However for the Kah Motor Accord it will be bigger abit compared to Civic.

So if you are comparing Kah Motor's Civic and Accord. Then Accord will be much better to ferry guests and clients.

However, if you are comparing the Accord JDM, then ferrying Guests and Clients shouldn't be the considerations. Accord JDM's Interior might be a bit smaller compared to Civic.

I have booked my Accord JDM and are now waiting to get it. (most likely End March Hopefully), after that will updates you guys and gals on the ride... [sunny][laugh]

Hi All,

Accord Or Civic - Laser had already made up his/her choice !

Whatever you guys said is just HISTORY [laugh]

Start a new tread [lipsrsealed]

As of now, for me it is still the Civic 2.0SI over the Accord - of course, if available the Civic Euro or maybe the new CivicSiR [:)] will be best). [lipsrsealed

No Subaru Legacy 2GT as far as I'm driving 90% in Singapore - why should I pay for something I don't need [idea]

The Civic is fun car as I mentioned. It has a lot of new technologies and you can expect to see more and more kits for it...

Just compare the Mugen visor for Civic against the others... It definitely looks much more classy depite it's cost... Have one installed yesterday...

As for the real fun, go for the VTi-S or Si auto and it comes with paddle shift. This is not the usual steptronic stuff and the response is really good...

For power, the Civic is no longer the 1.6L car u see on the road... It has the power and FC is fantastic. At least when I compare it with my previous ride, 1.5 GDi Lancer, it was comparable despite the additional power built into the ride...

Trust me... having rode on it for 3 weeks, I have covered 1100km with less than 2 tanks full... [laugh]

go for civic if u are feature and tech savvy... go for accord if purely for asthetics and classy looks... do note new civic has a slightly more rigid body though

IMO some of the new Civic features Eg. like the digital speedometer may not necessary be good. I still prefer the usual dial type. I prefer to see the needle move from left to right when u pick up speed...
