Malfunction Indicator lighted

Hi,

 

I am driving an mid 01 subaru impreza, 1.6l and not awd version

i just drove to malacca and on the way back the MIL was flashing

slowed down from 150-160 to around 80 and it stopped blinking

i then went back to around 140 without any prob

first time it appeared

 

i then stopped to pump 40rm of petronas, previously was 50rm of v-power

after driving for a while at 150-170

it start to light up and stay lighted

 

reduce my speed did not help anymore

 

can anyone help recommend a trustworthy wksp which i can go to for this?

btw the engine and driving is prefectly fine, no diff at all.

Looks like the possible problem is emission related - either the lamdba sensor or the cat in not functioning properly. Did you notice a high fuel comsumption or smell of unburnt fuel at the exhaust tail pipe opening. If yes then it may pinpoint to a emiision problem.

did not notice high fuel consumption but also becuz i was not monitoring

the only prob was that the aircon was not as cold and i sent it to the wksp that changed my coiling coil and he top up my gas and asked me to monitor

 

do u noe of any reliable wksp that can use the computer to check for the exact?
