haha... if u know the names, keep it to yrself... else their rice bowls become shaky...

i tink if bend the rules can also, but on case by case basis and on grounds of reasonableness like you mentioned (ie.age, maturity, yrs of experience and timing of test drive for road conditions)

but if for outright $$$, then no good [thumbsdown]

But seriously, they are sales people afterall, so to close a deal, they will do everything within their power to sell. And what better way to entice the buyer than to let him test the powress of awd and boxer's revv-iness on the road?

it's about the same as the EVO8 MR, anything below 3k is no boost, I guess the EVO9 with MIVEC solve the low end part nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

Even if you can't get a test drive at MI, you could get it elsewhere...other Authorised dealers are usually more lenient... [sly]

I started to know rex by chance, one day provoke a rex, kena blown away, i started to wonder how come this stupid car pick up so fast and started to read the information on rex.

i bought my rex by chance, not planned, because of test driving altis and have spare time, pop by motor image, test drive forester, 1st time got the feel of turbo. Immediately get hooked , fall in love with turbo car. The next step is test driving rex with the help Mr Vtec.Lagi jialak, deeply fall in love.

No return path for me. sell my old ride with big loss and now everyday.kicking ass or taking revenge on those cars that bully me before..laugh.giflaugh.gif

If you are keen buyer, no such 50% NCD rule,i test drive that with 0% NCD. I didnt buy from the first guy that allowed me to test drive forester but refused me from test driving a rex.

For petrol consumption...everyday 5-6krpm dragging still get 8km/h..very gentle drive 8.5km/l..the story is dont care on petrol..if you can take 8km/l...rex is not expensive to keep.

if you are young at heart..go get one to enjoy for a few years..

I only test drove the 2.0l WRX, turned down the offer to test drive the STi.

Personally feel that the suspension setup can be improved. drivingcar.gif

Then try the STI, it has the improved suspension..

i discoverd WRX another way, my friend owned one and offered me a ride... he drove really slowly in it and simply showing me the stereo system and all that while talking nicely with me... all of a sudden without stopping the conversation he floored the accelerator kicking in the turbo. It felt like a crazy rushed rocket... my chest was glued to the seat. I have never forgotten that first initial rush. It was like a big trick he played on me to catch me off guard. Test driving it around, no problems because you can test the old second hand ones off the market, and they too still deliver the extremely "unpleasant" powerful rush.

Cars that have 0-100kmph under 10 sec should have that "felt like a crazy rushed rocket... my chest was glued to the seat" feel.. My cls is like that when I floor the accelerator..

no lah, i've driven a Ford 4.2L inline 6... trust me, even though it is 8 seconds, it's nothing like the WRX or a below 6 second car... that 2 second difference is incredible.

I believe the cars here are more averse to the TP then the ambulances. unimpressed.gif

It is sad to see that some drivers do not give way to such services, esp when lives may be at stake. shakehead.gif
