If u change the housing to an HID housing as it bears the marks approved by international standard worldwide it will be okay. I did that and do not seem to have lots of problems, even it pass the LTA test.

Better don't make major changes....once kena fail viacom then you know...One say can after do...say cannot..stay with factory recommendations...

Have any bros here converted to hid? are korean made hid any diff from taiwan made ones and which make is worth to invest?

 

Anything advise on care of the hid kit after converting my ride?

Korea made HID kits are used to be more expensive than Taiwan and China made,due to it's reliability and brightness~

The estimated market price is as follows:

 

Taiwan - $300++

Korea - $400 to $500+

Japan - $800 to $900+

European and US - $800 to $1K+

 

Above are estimated pricing without labour charge.
