Godfinger Neutral Newbie March 28, 2006 Share March 28, 2006 Wow. Axial Engine in a Car means even lower Centre of Gravity and wider track. But I cant imagine the RPM that it will be running. Several times more then a Straight 4 conventional Engine layout.
Yc86 Clutched March 28, 2006 Share March 28, 2006 interesting... but can't find much info on it.. is there an animation on how it exactly works? or is it still patent pending so can't reveal too much..
Defelio Neutral Newbie March 28, 2006 Share March 28, 2006 Check this out. Is it something like this? http://auto.howstuffworks.com/quasiturbine.htm http://auto.howstuffworks.com/quasiturbine3.htm
Cheeze Neutral Newbie March 28, 2006 Share March 28, 2006 how different is this from the rotary engine?
Karebu 1st Gear March 28, 2006 Share March 28, 2006 normal engine is piston. 2 action. air and fuel, combust, and repeat. that's what i think.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear March 28, 2006 Share March 28, 2006 (edited) don't think so. It kinda looks like 2 boxer engines on top of each other surrounding a rotary engine style eccentric shaft... But then without any idea on which and how the parts move, its anybody's guess. The quasitubine engine on the other hand is simply a 4 chamber rotary. Analtcar Neutral Newbie April 4, 2006 Share April 4, 2006 (edited) Many years ago in Ozzyland someone invented an 'orbital' engine with performance rating similar to this AVE....and was bought over by BP to research further but to this day, it has not appeared. The rich oil syndicates will not allow fuel efficient engines to surface unless sme 3rd world cuntries take over BUT the 3rd wrld got no money. Autowoofz Neutral Newbie April 4, 2006 Share April 4, 2006 (edited) More skeptic comments @ http://www.digg.com/science/The_Axial_Vector_Engine : by TOMSANG on 3/30/06 Check out Ragingbull(AXVC) for more information on what's going on at Axial there are also a number of stories on Stockpatrol. Sam Higgins has had at least two public companies that were shut down due to fraud and deception. He tends to specialize on hyping up stocks while touting unbelievable technology. At Spectrum Oil/Spectrum Technologies he was touting a technology to desalinate salt water with lasers(PIMA). He was promising unbelievable results that were supposedly verified by the Saudi government. When we sent verification emails to the Saudi government they sent a letter to Spectrum to correct the misleading and false information. At GDM the Vancouver stock exchange shut them down for false and misleading stock marketing brochures touting a "Black Box" that detects oil from an airplane or at high speeds in a vehicle. He was touting the ownership at Spectrum of Vapaire until the owners of Vapaire started posting saying that what he was saying was completely false and misleading. Spectrum had no ownership in Vapaire, and the negotiations ended 8+ months before the letter. Yet, Sam Higgins was touting the unbelievable earnings potential in press releases, infomercials, and on their website up until and even after receiving word from Vapaire. Be very wary of this company. Too many of Sam Higgins' companies have been shut down due to fraud, and virtually every press release was proven incorrect, false, or a lie. Sam was selling shares on the side at Spectrum and promising the world. He lost a fraud lawsuit in Bakersfield, CA to the Sneeds for $3 million+, which he never paid. At this point he has 70% of the company so he has a paper net worth of $70 million, the Sneeds should go collect. :) Talk with you later, Tom Edited April 4, 2006 by Autowoofz
