Ok, I re-tap from another point on the intake manifold and it now always work.

 

However, the reading isn't as stable as the fpr vacuum line. The needle now does "shivers" a little bit at idle. Very very minute, which means it's highly sensitive or this particular vacuum line is not "dampened" like the fpr one ?

sounds like its before the TB from the fuel vapour cannister... that works too. dun worry i would rather it be extra sensitive than less sensitive.

Actually I tapped the one on the main intake manifold. Wow ... on this car, there's like thousand and one hoses, tried a few that I can reach without removing the top mount intercooler and settled for this.
