my personal view, tho i have never test driven the car.

built quality damn good. 3.2l FSI engine good, but min RON98 required,... problem driving to malaysia. interior best in class. rear leg room, i think latio has more. seat comfort not the best. ergonomics is one of the best.

 

would i get one? - no. for the same price i'd buy an X3.

the interior's the buying point and apart from that the quality of ride then ..

 

not very good fc returns unless you compare to a sunny and pretty good pickup ..

 

rode around in one in china but never tried in one here ..

oh, 2.4L.... it's an old engine. only 170bhp.

ya, for same price can buy Bmw 523.

My first impression trying out the driver's seat was...wow feels like a millionaire, with all the dark wood and aluminium trims. The outside is solid if lowered, with 18" wheels and the S-line kit (there are a couple on SG roads modded, but few).

Got money also don't touch the X3.... get a 5. THe X3 is design by someone else in Austria not BMW. It is a model destined to EOL very soon.

Don't know about the car but I know it has got more gadgets than a BMW or Merc. Rides pretty well, steering feel not as good as the 5 (with active steering), spacious and engine is OK. Leather all from factory so no squeaking sound.

 

But the quattro is super cool, comes with LED rear and the presence on the road is awesome.

 

If got money can buy one bec there are just too many 5 series on the road. Put on 19" rims and S line kit will make it one of the rare ones on the road.
