Mondeo Neutral Newbie April 24, 2002 Author Share April 24, 2002 must be 2 persons do the job, but think of need to take out the wheels (x4) , and at least 1hr job man... or pass to w/s to change!
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 24, 2002 Share April 24, 2002 Two man job but no need to remove wheels lah, I got ramps that U can drive up on then can reach the bleeder screws to start bleeding the fluid
Mondeo Neutral Newbie April 24, 2002 Author Share April 24, 2002 OK then.
Sky8807 1st Gear April 24, 2002 Share April 24, 2002 Read somewhere that bleeding should start from front driver side followed by front left side, then rear right and finally rear left. My 2c worth.
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 24, 2002 Share April 24, 2002 I tot it's the corner furthest away from the master pump (passenger rear wheel for my brick) then closest to master pump last one to bleed.
Sky8807 1st Gear April 24, 2002 Share April 24, 2002 If there is air in the one nearest the pump and you bleed the furthest first and then proceed nearer, there is a chance that the trap air may flow back toward the bleeded parts. If you bleed the one nearest the pump and reservoir first then works further away then the chances of air trap is non existance. Just like topping up the tank and letting it flow from the source to the extreme end.
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 24, 2002 Share April 24, 2002 Sounds logical, I'll dig up my paperwork on the bleeding sequence

Pauly75ts Neutral Newbie April 24, 2002 Share April 24, 2002 Hi! there, TB, Bleeding for the brakes is the furthest from the master pump first, as the air bubbles would have compress to the ends of the other nipples by then. Call me if your're going to do it, as I need to do mine too. Rgds Paul Yong
Mondeo Neutral Newbie April 24, 2002 Author Share April 24, 2002 Hi Paul, we're thinking on tomorrow night-Thur (interested??), but must check with TB whether his carpark has bright enough!

If he has stock, I'm sure he will will change story and try to push it to you saying that - upgrade hoses must upgrade fluid too! ↡ Advertisement
