i've been looking at these NST pulley's..

 

they are a good upgrade i recon , and i'll be getting one soon...

 

the starlet does not have a harmonic balancer, it is only a crank pulley..

factory cranks are balanced , so there is no vibration to worry about , so it only needs a pulley to connect the belts to..

 

a lightweight underdriven off the crank will help the engine rev quicker , and reduce load on the crank to improve power output.

 

Boosted GT's 380HP EP82 has one fitted , and everything such as power steering and alternator are still in tolorences to operate correctly...

 

NST has them for US$99+freight

these pulley's are only suited for the 4E/5E engines..

 

they do make the pulleys for power steering and the alternator , but at US$80 odd each , it's not worth it..

the underrun crank pulley is the one you want..

Let me clear some doubt. the 3e and 2e crank pully is the same as 4e and 5e. I hoping to do a group buy on it. At least 5 orders then can have a cheaper offer.
