Guide on buying from PI

Hi,

I had booked a Honda Airwave from Ca-resourc (7in1 pannic co.) a week ago. so far so good. The person who served me (Andre) and their boss is a very nice guy. They hanged a cross in the office, I think should't be telling lie. So far the service from him is good, value added service,and good deal, with Homa accessory and 3yrs warranty, but too bad no free servicing. I think should have at list one to three free servcing. I'm looking forward to collect car. Hopefully can get on time (within a month) with full accessory as promised. If that come through, we should update and remove CR from the blacklisted list.

got my car a mth ago but still waiting for my car last foc replacement parts....in fact i have call and to go to 3 difference workshop to have theses item change...which is Not what the PI salesman told me before i sign the chq.book...?? etc etc

My Car agent also committed to provide Homa pakcage, look very attactive. By the way is the v tuner able to connect GPS.

Hi...

No, the tv tuner can receive t.v mobile,channel 5 ,8 and cnbc but only tv mobile could be view when driving....my agent told me before that if i go for gps then no tv tuner...i don't think we need gps in singapore...

Hi,

I prefer gps cos i used to traval to malaysia. In S'pore driver are not allow to watch tv, will get caught by tp. and the screen is too small. Never drive a airwave b4, only 1.5l, dont know how's the performance.

Hi..

I drive a mpv..so i attach a extra monitor in the car ceiling.the kids/friends can enjoy watching dvd/t.v while on the rd.the front screen is very sharp and resolution is great...you can have the option to shut off the screen if it bother your drving...

malaysia gps system.....general rd is ok but lastest up date ...haha i don't think so....

Just want share my experience with the so called AUTHORISED DEALER!!!

 

It was in July, I went to the Kia showroom in Ubi (Under Cycle & Carriage) to book a Kia Rio 1.4M at their advertised price; bcos the price is base on 6 bidding non guaranteed so i'm under their mercy to secure the COE; after 6 unsuccessful bidding, I decided to top up another $1k hopefully to get the COE with another last attemp, but to my surprise they (C & C) did not even tried & bid for me! So I decided to cancel the order in order to get back my deposit to renew the roadtax and insurenance for my old car.

 

To my surprise after a few day which is on Friday, the Kia agent called me and told me his boss is willing to offer me immediate COE base on Open Category on 1 condition (with the $1K topup), so I decide to take up the offer; I rushed down on Sunday late afternoon to sign all necessary documents & forms. I am also told to drive my old car to the Kia agent the following day (Monday) to de-register it and to pass him all the required payment (downpayment, insurance, 1st installment, etc) to register the new car. Looking at the timing, very likely my new car will be ready one week's time.

 

Sound good right? Here comes the best part! A few hour later my Kia agent called me again and say that C & C has decide not to sell me the car!!!! Can you believe it? Reason given to me is that they have meet the quota and do not need my deal !!!

 

I can't believe this kind of thing can happen, I don't blame my car agent, because I believe he genuinely tried his best, wanted me to achieve my dream & get a new car. I just don't understand what policy / procedure behind this big company like C & C which can go back their word just like that!!! After going thru all the waiting and hassle I still did not manage to get a new car!!! I guess if I am a BIG buyer going after an expensive car like MERCEDES, I may be treated more professionally. What an unforgetable new car buying experience!

C&C does treat its Mercedes Benz customers differently from its Citroen, Mitsubishi and Kia customers.

hey bro... Me too had problem w e AUTHORISED DEALER FROM C&C..

 

The dealer over e phone coded me $31,100 for a lancer auto sport after discount (under OPC) with cash rebate promotion...

 

And you koe wat, when i wi he told me tt the price he code was actually include e cash rebate of $3,888.. Which in e first place, i already tell him tt e other company offer me 33,988 & got cash rebate promo... sxxt man...

 

As i'm a first time buyer & tinking tt e dealer was my fren's fren i believe in him and sign e contract.

 

the final purchase price was $35k (52,988 - 17,000 - $988 discount) which is under guarantee coe somemore...

 

sell me $500 for spike cool & $385 for kote coat which he say is a discounted price. under e agreement, he only state e kote coat price and write spike cool included. and wrote discount as $488 instead of $988. Ask him y he write like tt.. He claim is due to some co's inter charges so gonna write like tt.. After which i get to koe a dealer from C&C company @ alexrandra and told me rike cool is $400 & spike cool is $250. Call e dealer to ask him tt y e accessorices price he code is so high when C&C co only charges $400.. He say his offer is definatly gd price..

 

And beforehand, he called me n say tt maybank had already apply my loan.. I told him tt i don't wan to take up maybank lor n if dbs loan don't approve i won't take up e maybank loan too.. He say cannot.. If dbs don't approve n i don't take maybank loan deposit will be forfeited...

 

Not satisfied and call e sales mgr for clarification.. Mgr also unhelpful.. refuse to tell me e selling price before i tell him wat is e price his dealer sell me.. Then when i told him $500+ then he told me e selling price is $600. And after some urguement, e mgr unhappy say "U call e salesperson to say tt i gif e rike cool to you free la, was it ok for you..." I agree n send e dealer a sms to inform him tt e sales mgr waive e rike cool price.. Guess wat.. He reply me by saying tt no infor from sales mgr so can't proceed. i told him to check w his mgr and he reply me this, "ok, i will check out w my mgr. for your infor i'll be showing my mgr e sales agreement form n it state tt rike cool is already included"

 

He also jus sms me y'day tt my guartee coe bidding is not sucessful...

 

Now e case was still pending n don't koe wat to do also..

they promised you guaranteed COE, but is there any indication of how many biddings?

for the rite kool and kote coat, i believe that there is nothing much you can do coz its only a verbal agreement btw you and the manager, not the contract. (pray hard that the manager honour his words)

for the bank loan, is it stated on the contract that you can cancel the agreement with with full refund of deposit if loan is not approved from DBS?

my advise is to go through your contract in details again.

by the way, how much deposit did you pay?

the guaranteed COE w 4 bids... i jus when to CASE today to get e officer they to write to C&C fulco for the accessory issue... The dealer only tell me tt if loan not approved tt deposit will be refund la... all in verbal.. As i'm a first time buyer don't know tt they will jus cheat me like this.. Somemore e dealer is exactly my colleague's fren... Had pay a $3k deposit lei...

 

Anyway it seen like nothin can be changes, jus try my luck n see whether they will jus give e accessory free after receiving e CASE letter.. I was told by my fren tt actually i can get e non-guarantee coe + some accessory to make up e min of $35k as to entitle e cash rebate promotion... But e dealer keep on mention cannot.. But C&C at alexrandra can do it.. And some other dealer tt i call for enquiry oso say can...
