One more big # for Auto Trust!!!

Yesterday I called to ask for Edix ready stocks grey colour. They said confirm have, shipment just arrive. Reach there tell me the last one was just snapped up by customer. Think I small kid issit, this kind of blatant lie also dare to say. Imagine this kind of things they lie, what more when u book with them??? Also the whole lot of SEs looks like a bunch of crooks.

 

So beware, their advertised prices look cheap cheap, but would u want to take a chance???

Wah reading this post is making me scared. I am awaiting for the delivery of my Estima from Pinnacle Motors in 7 days time...at least that is what the SE said.

 

I hope they keep their promises and make sure that everything that was promised i.e. colour and stuffs are included.

Would like to recommend World of Wheels [laugh]

Booked my Honda Edix two and half weeks ago and got it today.

Reasonable price, no hidden costs, responsive SE, servicing at reliable Comfort Automotive Service [thumbsup]

they are under same mgmt with j***C*r

 

But i heard j*** c*r not too bad. People have feedback they got their rides pretty fast, and "pretty" hassle free. Seems like the boss's daughter is at jc, while cc branch is just a mgr.

ok, I didnt buy car from any PI. Just to share an experience at Ricardo. Went there few years back with my '89 old charade to fix some alignment/balancing problem. The mechanics there were friendly and helpful although I did not bring in car bought from them. Some may say...well, it's still business what. All I can say, I was pretty impressed with their service then.

2 of my frds bought their FIT from a big name PI called Pinnac** but all end up with bad experiences.... so now I'm think twice when i wan to get a car from PI. But i kinda of like FIT design beside Vios(too common and hate BM scv) lay.... shopping for car is really a headach task.

 

bro, care to share the bad experience?

 

We are intending to get a Fit from this Pinnac** too at Ubi..

 

 

The first one waited for months(promissed deliver b4 CNY, din hear from them end march; try to call but no reply. until she got so angry bang table ask for refund). The second one got cheated as the the SE 'forgot' to incur the balance installment for my frd's old car into the trade in package, which seem like a good deal in the first place... They wanted to close deal fast but din deliver as promise... lousy customer services...

 

 

Promised to refund if can't get loan. Now refused to refund. The GM blame me it's my fault for bank don't approve to me. What shall I do now? Can anyone advice?

Early April '06, I booked a Rav4 from a PI (CR)....

Two days later, the SE called me up and tells me there are discrepancy with the trade-in value of my old car and wish to discuss with me.

 

They told me that they have wrongly over quoted on my use car. They want me accept the counter-offer for me old which is few thousand dollars lesser. Obviously, I rejected and insisted that they proceed with the deal.

Since then, nobody from CR came back to me on the outcome.

 

After many phone calls and faxes to check on the status, nobody from that PI even bother to reply me. Damned pissed off!

 

Since the agreement says the expected delivery of the new car is End May'06, I finally called them up again around End May '06 to check on the delivery status.

To my surprise, they told me that they cant honor the deal and have to cancel the agreement.

 

I waited for 2 weeks for them to arrange to collect back my deposit, I receive no phone calls from them.

 

Feeling that something is not right, I engaged a lawywer to send them a letter to demand them to complete the deal.

 

Their (CR) lawyer finally replied saying that:

1. I have to pay them $15k upfront deposit for bidding of COE.

2. I have to settle my outstanding loan (~=$50K)of my old car and pass them the original log car before before collecting my car.

3. I have to pay them 5% GST on the full car price in advance.

Else they will allege me for breaching the contract!

* Above terms are stated in the damn fine prints on the back of the sales contract and the sales executive did not mentioned anything about these condition to me at any point of time.

 

MINE! MINE! MINE!

Who on earth in Singapore will go into buying a car with this terms and condition where you have to pay an upfront payment of $70k (have not consider the downpayment, first yr insurance and first instalment)??????

AND For their mistakes and dishonesty, they are counter-blaming me for breaching the contract if I fail to follow their instruction.

 

With this stucked situation, I am losing my deposit and I am totally lost and wary of being sued for nothing for their mistakes.

 

For this damn BAD BAD BAD experience with this dishonest PI, I want all Singaporean to stay as far as possible from this PI (CR). This kind of company cannot exist in Singapore.

 

Why is CASE not able to deal this them? Where is our consumer's rights?

We hope some association can stand up and for all the affected consumers here and put those crooks that spoils the industry to justice!

And I thought my PI was bad ....... absolutely agree with you that this CR is the pits .....

 

BTW got my car from Sh-- He--. Waited 4 months to get it. After signing, totally no sound from them. When call them up, keep saying coming, in port, on ship whatever .......so siannz lost all interest in modding the car when it finally arrived. Just relieved that the car actually arrived.

 

 

 

 

 

I AGREED!!! Me also victim!!! My extremely worst experience was with PI name PinnxxxMoxxx. My deposit gone too.

 

Any brother out there have a way to help to get back my deposit?
