YellowFlash Clutched May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 thats how diesel cars are...even more for TCed ones... usually most of the torque is from 1800-2700 rpm. very good for low speed over taking and city driving . the car got no high end at all?...can drive at 120? YellowFlash Clutched May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 not so interested in commercial vehicles cause 70 is the speed limit. i want a petrol TCed car hehe but no $$$....maybe next time when i really start working
Gabriel 1st Gear May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 agree with u... but once hit above 100....still got torquey feel.. maybe not as fast as saloon car... but enough for me liao lor
Gabriel 1st Gear May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 get yrv turbo lor... 1.3 turbo
YellowFlash Clutched May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 i dont want something that can juz go straight , something that has power and handling, TC cars that are in my mind would be rex, evo, silvias but i know they have very heavy maintanence so i might decide to go for NA instead...some NAs on my mind would be ITR,CTR,EuroR,MRS....but i wont be able to afford them anytime soon
Elfenstar 3rd Gear May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 MRS... once u set it up properly, it will out handle ANY and EVERY fwd car regardless of how much the FWD;s handling is modded.
YellowFlash Clutched May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 MRS has a superb handling, its build for track...btw MRS is FF or FR?
Requiemdk 1st Gear May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 It's an MR car I think... hence its name. One of the cars that I'd really like to own, but it just doesn't seem that practical in the long run here.
YellowFlash Clutched May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 yea...i was puzzled cause elfenstar use it to compare against FWD...i hope he means front wheel drive instead of 4WD...LOL, cause Fwd cars have the lousiest handling comparing to rwd and 4wd and i remember mrs was mid engine rear wheel drive making it a very good track machine. Elfenstar 3rd Gear May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 MR... while the rest of ur NA cars were FF. but if u want a fast, and good handling FF you can't go past the ITR.
YellowFlash Clutched May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 FF cars cheaper ma, tats why i mention. most of the NA RWD cars are those continental like the beemers(definately want to drive m3 or m5), the mercs, noble m400, db9...cheapest one might be mx5 not to mention AE86s? but it sure does not have so much power. an altezza might be good but it'll be PI unless i get the IS250.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 the orignal mx5 is pretty quick and handles like its on rails... heard the new one matches up. but if u're want a cheap good handling car, get an eg/ek civic and mod the crap out of its suspension components. it should put a lot of stock rwd cars to shame. but yeah i do understand the price issue tween fwd and rwd cars. Elfenstar 3rd Gear May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 Mine was a strange one... ran perfectly other than worn out sensors which were cheap to change. anyway i have a confirmed buyer and as off monday, its going to be my ex-s13. engine is going into the new guys track silvia and the body + susp etc going to house his daily driver engine (he wrote off his previous car but the engine was fine). Yc86 Clutched May 5, 2006 Share May 5, 2006 (edited) you tried before? 3Gs in a loop in a plane? WOW! was kinda like a joy ride... max was 5.5Gs and start to black out liao, tunnel vision did the anti-GLOC move but with that weight pressing on ur chest, very hard to tighten chest, abs and leg muscles and breathe at the same time. if relax the muscles, will immediately black out better not say too much later an f-16 pilot here come and me this plane only got 300bhp, 0-60 knots in about... 6+sec?
