Quantum 5th Gear May 3, 2006 Author Share May 3, 2006 according to his description, the new system likes a microscope, just look inside and tell the clerk what colour you's seen, i tot the old system is to read a colour book something like that, maybe easier
Lucien Neutral Newbie May 3, 2006 Share May 3, 2006 the scope inside is to see a few colored circles.

Sir2yrv Neutral Newbie May 3, 2006 Share May 3, 2006 Hi guys. Rather new here but thought I share with you. I'm actually colour-blind (mainly can't see red/green). I've actually got Class 2,3 & 4 license. Although I had my license more than 10 years ago, I remember that the colour test involves looking through the 'microscope'. How do I do it? Hehe... they mainly show the 3 main colours of the traffic lights. How to tell them apart? Brightest colour= yellow. Green= has a little bright whitish colour. Red=Duller shade of colour among the three. I'm currently doing a research to help colour-blind people to 'see'. Dunno how true this would be for most but I've got my license with that knowledge. Good luck to your friend

Jonathanjonathan Neutral Newbie May 3, 2006 Share May 3, 2006 im colour blind too(red/green) but i guess its not that severe, ie i can tell the difference between the red amber green lights. but if you give me that book with the multi coloured dots and ask me wat the hidden number is i wont be able to see it. i suppose it really depends ont he severity of the colour blindness.... Gnoikj Neutral Newbie May 3, 2006 Share May 3, 2006 Sigh...Isn't that dangerous? Not only to the driver but to other road users? When u try telling the colour of the lights, you would be more prone to making mistakes...
Gnoikj Neutral Newbie May 3, 2006 Share May 3, 2006 Why book car first without getting the licence? Isn't that ↡ Advertisement
